If the lockout ends within the next 12 days, the Winter Classic could be revived. The drop dead date was rumored to be around November 15th.
Think about it. If the lockout was ended in time, the league could then throw the fans a bone by "saving the Classic." This would go a long way towards helping a lot of fans "forget" about the hockey that has been missed.
It's a long shot, but I could see this happening. |
